Subzero Posted September 26 Posted September 26 These below give me a different creepy feeling than the ones above, more of a melancholic sadness ad though I'm mourning something in a different timeline, idk how to explain it but I love them 1

Dumbledore Posted September 26 Posted September 26 But for real though All the songs are beautiful in my opinion, but this one specially. The thing is, it awakens my Thalassophobia, as I imagine myself drowned in the vastness of the water and think about what that depth could hold. The original version is about a man that's sad because he is leaving his homeland to go whaling in hopes to become richer. But this version to me is about the tragedy of killing the whale, sung by a woman saying goodbye to her sea friend. 1
laqqinq Posted September 26 Posted September 26 TW: themes of abuse at a young age It's 17 minutes long, and the 9:32 - 14:05 mark is just silence.
Axolotl Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Every Breath You Take always gave me creepy vibes, and I've heard lyrics verbatim said to me unironically and it just gave me goosebumps in the worst way.
