Breathe On Moi Posted September 26 Posted September 26 (edited) Inspired by another thread about ya stinky ass breaths. I actually was going back and forth with my dentist a week ago about this she says string floss is better, but pick floss is so convenient (it kills the world I know, be quiet for one sec) and actually entices me to floss, I can go through 2-3 in one sitting to ensure cleaning, and Reddit said it's fine so! what do you use and prefer? Jack! Posted September 26 Posted September 26 String. It's cheaper to buy than the picks so If I go through a couple of pulls of the strings I don't mind, better to the environment, plus better flexibility around my whole mouth.
tellem Posted September 26 Posted September 26 (edited) I use interdental brushes (I voted picks bc that's close I guess) + string together Edited September 26 by tellem
Aston Martin Posted September 26 Posted September 26 String floss which I use daily. I also have a water flosser but I use it in a more supplementary way.
Katamari Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Pick floss since my teeth are tighter than a dick in a butt 10
LovingDays Posted September 26 Posted September 26 ATRL suddenly becoming obsessed with oral hygiene 2
Arthoe Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Both, but mainly pick floss (I have a permanent retainer glued to my teeth, so getting the stringfloss in is just not happening)
yonsé Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Pick floss. But the kind with the little string on them, not the pointy ones. Ppl out here not flossing?
Curaga Posted September 26 Posted September 26 (edited) String because I have a permanent retainer across the bottom 6 teeth I have to thread through. I've gotten good enough that I don't need floss threaders anymore, and luckily I only have to thread once to reach everywhere. Edited September 26 by Curaga

Devin Posted September 26 Posted September 26 string. i have a bad habit chewing on toothpicks. the ones with the strings are only good for removing steak between ur teeth.
Brooklyn Baby Posted September 26 Posted September 26 String is better. People are really voting "I don't floss"
Sombre Posted September 26 Posted September 26 Water flosser. I cannot deal with string flossers, I find them so nasty to use.

I know I need to floss more, but I'm just too lazy with flossing...I floss like one or twice per week. In my defense, I came from a poor country with no concept of flossing until I got to the USA. Leave me alone!
JoeAg Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I don't floss nearly as often as I should, especially considering my teeth are all SUPER close together and always have been but typically just string. when I was in grade school my mom would encourage me to floss more by buying the picks, which would work tbh
Reginald Posted September 26 Posted September 26 String, pick, and water-flosser. I do not understand people who don't floss, it's part of my nightly routine Imagine the stuff living under your gumline! 2

Nightingale Posted September 26 Posted September 26 String. So much cheaper and pick is not that much more convenient
