He wasn't besties with either. They were business partners. The carters make it clear who is apart of their daily life. He shouted out all his friends that stay at his house on Everything Is Love Album. His only real known crazy bestie is Kanye west whom he distanced from around 2016.

The difference is Taylor actually factually hugged a Trump supporter and there were several pictures of it. Whatever involvement Beyoncé has in Diddy's activities is SPECULATION and rumours with ZERO proof.
