ericcartman Posted September 29 Posted September 29 Beyonce probably knew, but so did hundreds of celebrities. You can't cancel them all.
Rotunda Posted September 29 Posted September 29 (edited) Every big name in Hollywood knows an abuser and has associated with an abuser. Some still choose to publicly associate with said abusers. It's likely that Bey and Jay at a minimum knew the rumors about Diddy and had on good authority that some facets of them are true. With that said, it's likely that hundreds of others were also aware of Diddy's behavior and chose for various reasons not to be the one to break the silence. Some may have feared industry backlash, and some may have feared for their lives. There's a reason why Cassie waited until the Adult Survivors Act was about to expire to come forward, and why others didn't feel confident in coming forward until she was successful. OrgVisual Posted September 30 Posted September 30 This scandal is a convenient for racists to drag any black artist that they don't like 1
VerdantHue Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Cancel culture is not real. This whole thing is weird. Why are people trying to hold other people responsible for something Diddy fully carried out. Beyonce and Jay Z are not the FBI. That's why the FBI investigated and ultimately got Diddy. It's sad that the majority is so quick to come to conclusion without question or PROOF! 1 1 1
LegaMyth Posted October 1 Posted October 1 (edited) Usher and Neyo were named in a lawsuit as witnessesto Cassie bring hit, but Beyonce is taking the most heat??? Edited October 1 by LegaMyth 3
StayFrosty Posted October 1 Posted October 1 The more Beyonce tries to act *perfect* the more people see right through her. It's so amusing. 1 4
Robyn. Posted October 1 Posted October 1 What's funny about these theories, is that it comes from people who are just speculating and have nothing to back up their claims yet they be acting like they're woke when they're just as clueless as everyone else. I believe there are evil and shady humans among high-profile people, but these Tik Tok investigators don't know sh*t about what's going on behind closed doors. It's just vibes at this point. 1 3

I mean... she literally releases music and vanishes. Then comes back to sell something and vanishes. She's the definition of minding her business and still people think she "acts perfect" . It's just them projecting onto to her at this point. It's quite sad. 4
Sharamee6 Posted October 1 Posted October 1 Finally. It took some time, but it's slowly and finally happening. 2

And it's such a hard/delicate topic to be discussed, i find that to be even disrespectful to the actual victims. There's a girl on IG that called me "dumb" for defending celebrities (in that case, Beyoncé) bc according her, she was "100% guilty" and i was like... girl... you believe on dumb theories made by jobless TikTokers and i'm the dumb one?
BGKC Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I have to say…Anytime I expressed any type of love towards Bey and her music, it was often something taboo. People always felt to need to humble her or tear her down. Waiting for this moment type ish. One can say whatever they want about beyonce fans, but beyonce haters are on another level atp 1 1

I literally just argued with someone who said Beyonce was underperforming compared to Aaliyah (as a solo artist).. meanwhile Aaliyah died in 2001 when DC was at the height of their career. people are just sayin anything to demonize bey.
BrokenMachine Posted October 2 Posted October 2 These kind of speculations just take away from the actual awful case. If they did something, let's wait until actual evidence or people suing them come, but not by consuming random tiktok videos hoping to go viral at their expense 1

The last time Bey pulled this 'larger-than-life' image was 2017, seven years ago, after that she just releases music, performs and that's it, it's no different from what any artist does so I don't get why you're calling it 'tries to act perfect' 2
