It's one of those songs where the artist has a message, and the lyrics have to fit into the melody, no matter what.

That said, it will be remembered as the song that marked the beginning of Gaga's downfall. Hours before the song was released the hype was insane, once out the media, which had always praised her, started for the very first time noticing flaws, pointing out the outdated production, the similarity to Madonna's song, and that nonsensical video.

Nothing was the same since then.

It's not the same, 2010 gaga was something else. This very moment Bruno is the golden boy, but the GP is not here for stupid love gaga.

"the gp isn't here for stupid love" which went #5 and was followed by a #1 album and a #1 single. the GP in reality since 2018 and for the foreseeable future:
