bjorn Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) Do you all still listen to this song? Discuss sistrens Edited September 24 by bjorn
JoeAg Posted September 24 Posted September 24 lyrics have always been great and subversive. music video has aged like wine but that's about it. it has the worst production out of any song on its parent album, and also out of any of Gaga's hits Hair should've taken its place tbh
Big Bad Wolf Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Boring topic! It's an 80s inspired track in 2010. How well should it age? The message aged well, the intent of the song aged well, its influence on society and culture aged well. It's a gay classic for a reason. 8
Almodusa Posted September 24 Posted September 24 The instrumental is electronic delish, her vocal delivery is determined, sincere, and cvnt, and majority of lyrics still hold strong 1
Namiskine Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I actually bop more to it nowadays than I used to when it got released, so yes
Kimmo Posted September 24 Posted September 24 They play it at HEB all the time so is definitely a classic, I even heard Free Woman as well. I'm beginning to think whoever picks the playlist for the stores is either a Liddo or a Power Bottom… 4
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted September 24 Posted September 24 The mixing really hurts my ears But it's a great song
VioletsandRoses Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I never liked it. We R Who We R, Firework and Raise Yout Glass were better empowerment anthems 7
magazine Posted September 24 Posted September 24 It's literally a pop masterpiece, of course it did 2
Supervillain Posted September 24 Posted September 24 It's timeless. Heard it at the club one month ago and the whole room was shaking! 2
technoprayer Posted September 24 Posted September 24 the way I used to be TERRIFIED of the ending (when she's walking on the street) when I was little. classic song even if the production is a bit eehh & amazing video
wastedpotential Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I do give it strihms from time to time but I usually finish the song with a bit of a migraine because the mix is a bit... overwhelming
NOW Posted September 24 Posted September 24 It was a 3/5 on arrival but it feels like a solid 4/5 now, it aged very well.
Mtjjproducer Posted September 24 Posted September 24 (edited) The video is cool but this song is a god awful dated on arrival overproduced mess. the lyrics and melody deserve a better instrumental Edited September 24 by Mtjjproducer 1
MP3 Posted September 24 Posted September 24 It's a great song and that album made me a fan of her but I always found the production of BTW song was weak, it's missing some profoundness in the instrumental

Paparazzaid Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I didn't like it back then and I still don't like it now. One of my least favorite singles by Gaga along with Stupid Love and MR That being said, the song is a classic now and one of the biggest gay anthems of all time.
