The 90s also had: • Mary J. Blige • Toni Braxton • Faith Evans • LeAnn Rimes • Brandy • Kelly Price etc 2000s also had: • Kelly Clarkson • Fantasia • Keyshia Cole • Alicia Keys (before her vocal abilities were snatched for stealing that lady's husband) • Paramore's Hayley Williams • JoJo etc(?) 2010s is a bit shaky, but I'd also include Demi and Jessie J along with the gorls you've already listed.

But the thread talks about MPG's so what's your point on here?

They would never stan a Selena Gomez, Hilary Duff or Britney that can't hold a single note for the least challenging song ever. hm... Let's backtrack a tad 90's: Mariah, Whitney, Celine, Brandy, Monica, Toni Braxton, LeAnn Rimes 00's: Xtina, Bey (& DC), P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, Leona Lewis 10's: Ariana, Gaga, Adele, Miley Cyrus and how would Gen Z not stan a selena hilary or britney when they stan a Taylor Swift harder than anybody else 1

Popboi. Posted September 25 Posted September 25 There's good-great vocalists, but not the ones that would leave a listener stunned. Which isn't bad at all, cause it leaves a spot in the industry for the likes of Adele to still be current even if past their prime.

It's not about who have the best selling album for a year. It's about being in front of the pop music scene and be a recognizable face as a singer with back to back hits WW and the media talking about them. Or at least that's what ATRL says what it is. Nobody ever claimed Brandy, Monica. Toni and LeAnn as MPG ever and that's why they are forgotten. No MPG could ever have a show with 4 people on the stadium ever. On the 00's Kelly was local despite being big and her celebrity status was mid so she also wasn't one and Leona was just BIG for one era and still her success was very Europe driven. So basically you are all putting artists for the sake of it

Slap Posted September 25 Posted September 25 Okay I need to give Xtina props because it's nice to see her using her vocals for a good cause instead of screeching. This SLAYS.
