Lady Gaga has already been there before with 'ARTPOP'.

Rihanna is seemingly retired from music.

Britney Spears already had 'Britney Jean' too and said she won't release a new album.

Adele is too low-key to elicit strong reactions from people if she were to bomb.

And a flop album from Beyoncé wouldn't really change her status anymore at this point.

 

… that only leaves Taylor Swift, who's one of the very few artists left who 1. hasn't had a flop era yet and 2. who enough people care about for there to even be a lot of discourse from the fans/media/public whenever that does happen.

 

 

So is Is Taylor Swift next in line for a panned bomb era à la 'Witness', '143', 'ARTPOP' or 'Bionic'?
