I just don't think she's cut out for being a celebrity. She just wants to make music and promote drag queens which is fine I guess if that's what she wants… people want her to be the next lady gaga but she doesn't even come close

Please don't let Trump be in charge over Palestine and Israel. Because he's going to do them 10x worse than the Biden administration ever has. I don't think people realize this, you're going to kill even more Palestinians if you willingly let Trump win.

Albeit I agree that the Democratic party hypocrisy is at all time highs and its not doing enough wrt to Palestine. This is true - and honestly I think the current war and escalation is a result of Trump's actions, such as moving the US's embassy to Jerusalem and further alienation of the Palestinians.

I love Chappell, but this is absolutely not about morals. This is about PR. She knows her fanbase is primarily progressive youth individuals. She could just vote silently and not say anything. She is making a statement to win them over because many love that uncommitted vote. That really is all it is. Doesn't make me dislike her that is what they want to hear. If she pledges for Kamala many will attack her for being a genocide supporter and try to ruin her

I get both parties suck but she has massive influence and her words could drive a lot of people away from voting

I feel that she is a republican. Being outspoken republican basically means career suicide in the entertainment industry. 'Centralists' in entertainment are usually republicans behind the scenes.

You lowkey have the point. Best PR move for her is obviously shut up since she already made her statement against the current administration clear when they invited her to perform at the WH.

However, it's quite crazy to think she's 26 and still has this purity view on politics. Like, hunny, Trump tried to ban drags and demonized the trans community as sexual predators right after Roe V. Wade fell :rip:. This "both sides" stand is not gonna help protecting any of us. In fact, it's a privilege to even be able to say that :rip:.

Trump and JD Vance don't even campaign anymore and are planning to steal the election. AGAIN! For god's sake. :suburban:

Cause fame is my boyfriend
Fame is a god
Fame is the breeze in my hair on the weekend
Fame's a relaxing thought
Aren't you envious that for you it's not?
Sweet like honey, fame is a cat
Purring in my lap 'cause it loves me
Flexing like a goddamn acrobat
Me and fame vibe like that

Fine, I don't have a problem with that at all, but stop using drag queen aesthetics then. THAT I have a problem with.

dedicates her award to drag artists... but can't guarantee you she'll vote in protection of them!

Every time I read something that comes out of this girl's mouth, I like her less. A month ago I was obsessed with her. Now, I can't stand her.

It sounds like the real abusers are her team for continually pushing her against her every will and wish, and she's just transferring that

Oh yes, she LOVES drag queens yet can't advocate for their PROTECTION and secure their RIGHTS to exist.
Chappell Roan needs to shut up just like that photographer told her to.
