Yes. But she should STOP talking about politics. She's a queer woman whose aesthetic is that of a drag queen. She's in the spotlight… there's no both sides are the same when it comes to LGBT+ issues. She's been heard and seen. And I'm sure she's aware of that. If she's not gonna vote then just keep it to yourself. At the end of the day she's a white woman after all.

Nah, we Palestinians enjoy the middle finger she gives to liberal attempts at killing us without a fuss. **** that.

You have officially completed the Horseshoe Theory thought process. Congratulation. :rip:

Holy ****, how dumb can you get?

If dissing Taylor and being a racist fool is all you got on Trump, then either you are so delusional that you completely ignore everything else about him. Or you are the most ignorant contrarian on this site, and that's saying something. :rip:

I've been saying for over a year now. The far left is indistinguishable from the far right now. Well some word choice may differ, they've become the same bottom feeders of politics.

It's SO funny how people like you have a problem with Chappell saying that there's problems on both sides of the Republican and Democratic parties but at the SAME TIME saying that leftists are basically the same as far right

Liberals are never beating the allegation, huh? :toofunny3:

The genocide in Palestine is an atrocity we obviously need to keep discussing and pressuring those we elect to stop from continuing. That said, Trump and his MAGA cronies will do everything in their power to NOT allow you girls, gays, theys, etc. to have an opinion or voice on domestic policy, let alone foreign policy. They hate your guts and don't want you in this country (or on this planet in fact).

Kamala is FAR from ideal, but she's the clear choice of the two candidates.

Damn Chappell is getting roasted so hard on social media for this - she might as well dress up as a turkey for her next performance.

And they'll be the first ones to protest against Trump after realizing the clown came back to bite…

You think millions dying because COVID was politicized, overturning Roe after 50 years, all the policies targeting and persecuting trans people and drag performers wasn't the world ending? Oh, you're gonna love round 2 where Trump will be completely unleashed with no accountability since he won't have to seek reelection.

Yes, women just got their healthcare rights taken away leading to the DEATH of multiple pregnant women including one in Georgia last week. :ace:

In material terms, it's both the Kamala-center and the far-right that are indistinguishable. Same far-right immigration reform proposals and support for genocide.

……….

Going by your logic, Kamala Harris, who enthusiastically received the support of far-right biggot and one of the biggest war criminals of the 21st century, Dick Cheney, is even more Republican than Chappell. Why are you voting for her then?

I think many users like you here are still missing the point. It's not a matter of Chappell having the right to express freely and vocally her position, but the consequence of doing so.

As you said she's a celebrity and it's not like she owes anyone anything: she has every right whatsoever to express any idea. The thing is, her words carry weight, and will still be interpreted in different ways and influence people, possibly driving some away from voting, or worse, leading them to vote the objectively MUCH worse candidate here. Either way despite maybe her still eventually voting left, she's indirectly helping more the right than anything doing this, and thinking otherwise is just naive.

She's free to think whatever she wants, but as a public figure she does have the responsibility of being more careful with her communication (however much she and her fans may want to deconstruct the hardships of celebrity, this still remains a sort of societal obligation that comes with it).

In this case, the best option would've been just staying silent at this point. You may say it would still meet controversy and doubts about her stance, but it would be definitely better than this and she would not be forced to endorse Harris and her administration.

Small potato considering the responsibility of the party you're voting to in enabling a MOTHERFUCKING GENOCIDE, which you all treat like a small inconvenience.

The bad person here definitely isn't Chappell for not ignoring a second holocaust like y'all do.

She's no different than Meghan McCain… both are friends with drag queens but would not vote for the candidate who got their back.

If you are a racist who thinks a genocide is a non-issue then yeah, surely they're both the same. That's more about you than her though.

The way nobody can be assed to read the interview so they leapt to the conclusion that she's standing up for Palestine. Too bad she plainly told The Guardian that her problem with the government is that "they cannot have cis people making decisions for trans people". Considering Trump's messaging about trans people vs the dems', to say "they both have problems" & that's the specific issue you're banging a drum about… BRAINLESS. Not a coincidence the only people defending her as a forward thinking visionary don't actually read her interviews. It's the daft leading the daft :psyduck:
