prézli Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Which artists stopped making music after they had peaked commercially or critically? imo: Miss Diana Vickers really delivered with her second album. So did underrated Queen Holly Valance

Rev8 Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Fergie never understood why she didn't release an album for 10 freaking years! Britney also was begging God to break her foot during ITZ, still her prime and then decided to take the biggest break of her career (until now)
Suilen Posted September 21 Posted September 21 Momoe Yamaguchi. Popularity peak for sure, quality? Well, she probably thought that nothing was topping her rock opera about the end of the world.

Anti had more top ten hits than Unapologetic and Talk That Talk + Needed Me is bigger than multiple of her number one hits (hit #13 on the year end, higher than What's My Name for instance) and Love On The Brain was her 4th most streamed song yesterday on Spotify. She's always released a LOT of singles and a good chunk smashed but then others fell to the wayside, I think Anti was a moment where she focused in and was much more intentional with her releases, consequently every single was a hit except KIB (which even today out streams multiple number ones of hers). I think it felt like less because she wasnt in the period of her career where she was dropping an album a year but the album is absolutely one of her biggest hits wise Edited September 21 by NickARTPOP 3
