punisher Posted October 11 Posted October 11 "Put you with your dead ass homie since you're saying that you miss him"
KatyPrismSpirit Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Wow congrats Miss Hallelujah A very cute and stellar debut album. I love Whatcha Kno About Me Stop Playing Don't Deserve
Braz Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I'm against everything Sexyy Red but their song kinda goes. The new Megan collab also stellar. 1
Braz Posted October 11 Posted October 11 This is a body of work! The Muni Long collab pulls on the heartstrings then she goes to motherfreaking CHURCH on Rain Down on Me. I'm gooped, she's doing the damn thing.
punisher Posted October 11 Posted October 11 good considering it went up on AM 1 1/2 hours late lets see if we can get top 3 or top 2
BrattyBottom Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Could have done without Meg but I just finished my first listen and damn, great debut. Also ended that rat JTeeth 1 2
BrattyBottom Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Latto kinda ate up Glo on Procedure tho. I think I'm ready to come out as a Latto fan. 1 1
goldstargay Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Don't Deserve is giving modern Love is Blind (eve) -- this is great debut 1 1

Fancyhoodlum Posted October 11 Posted October 11 this is an absolutely amazing album. so well produced, great lyrics, beats, and her accent is so addictive, wow. great year for rap music. latto, glorilla, Megan, girls delivered 5
Braz Posted October 11 Posted October 11 The only track I dislike is the T-Pain collab, the others range from very good to great and she gets to flex in different styles which I thought she couldn't do from the mixtapes.
BrattyBottom Posted October 11 Posted October 11 REAL B ITCHES RELATE, WE COUSINS I know that's right
Gossip_Boy Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Love this album. Shows real diversity and the gospel song is genius. Memphis rap and gospel never sounded so good together. All the collabs are inspired but she goes hard on her own. The beats go off, she has a great ear. I'm a Memphis rap fan, especially the women (Gangsta Boo, La Chat, Princess Loko) and GloRilla can certainly take her place in that line-up with pride. The only issue I have is How I Look is way too short. 4 2
Braz Posted October 11 Posted October 11 The songs are coming too, finally: 34- HOLLON 56- WATCHU KNOW BOUT ME 87- PROCEDURE 99- TGIF 117- RAIN DOWN ON ME 140- STOP PLAYING 155- HOW I LOOK 162- INTRO 1

I'm really hoping Lola's family connects with Glo' if they are still going to put out that posthumous album Edited October 11 by BrattyBottom
sweetkiss Posted October 11 Posted October 11 album is fantastic, i cant stop playing it my favorites: DONT DESERVE, I AINT GOING, HOW I LOOK i maybe expected something more instant with tpain but tbh i love everything, even the introoo video for WKBM is fun! this is Illmatic 1
slw84 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I think there is an incredible opportunity to make good moves. Hollon is the new song. Procedure would be cute Whatchu know about me is catchy Don't deserve. As someone said, is this generation's Love is blind. THis is going to be the staple radio hit for the winter. Best melodic rap performance nom for sure. Rain down on me. THIS IS the one that will be nominated for best gospel performance and Kirk better get his politics on. This isn't giving me Kirk Franklin's Stomp with Salt from Salt n pepa in the video crossover but the right visual and push and this song is a proper gospel/hip hop gem. Let her cook is a solid album track but I know it's going to be played a lot for me. the song with Meg...I'm gonna need more time on that one. Perhaps it's a grower. TGIR is an urban summer anthem. Hollon is her new single. I'm going to need more time with this one, too. I need her team to push Don't deserve and Rain down on me for the fall and winter and serve up Procedure or Whatchu know in the spring time. After hollon, I sure hope they pick the right singles because she has 2-3 songs that can solidify her if done right. Ion care about anything else can be optional but Don't deserve and Rain down on me NEED to have their moment.
BrattyBottom Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I think this is my AOTY, honestly. It's definitely the best mainstream female rap album this year and probably since Invasion of Privacy tbh 1
punisher Posted October 11 Posted October 11 ***** I'm from memphis watchu know about me? big GLO in that GLE
punisher Posted October 12 Posted October 12 without rod wave the album would be #1 on US AM Hollon would be #8 and Watchu Kno About Me would be #12 1
