Sorry, but EVERY critic HATES it and considering it's an a list pop release NOBODY seems to be streaming it. It IS Bad :giraffe:

It's the whole context around it. The album is not that bad, but in the current context, a Katy Perry album like 143 in 2024 can only get dragged to the pits of hell

Quote

I'll spare you any more lyrical quotations except to point out that the best Perry can do in "Artificial," which wants to make some kind of point about the encroachments of technology, is to describe herself as "a prisoner in your prison."

A prisoner — in your prison.

WARNING TO ATRL USERS:

Listening to critically panned album 143 by previously successful pop recording artist Katherine Hudson (aka. Katy Perry) has been linked to an increase in ear infections. It's theorezied that such abysmal pop music leads to a floppage buildup in the middle ear and chart blockage to the Eustachian tube. The only cure as of now is to stream Die With a Smile by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars as to successfully reintroduce TABS into the ear canal.

🚨STREAM DIE WITH A SMILE BY LADY GAGA AND BRUNO MARS🚨

Oh wow! Just tried it and it works! Just as effective as Nurtec when I have a migraine! 👍

51 members browsing - that's 16 members more than her MC score

Waking up to this thread having 83 pages and the score dropping even more :deadbanana:

The fact that Metacritic is displaying the K-Fed album next to it on the music homepage is so shady omfg

It will drop more since the most "valuable for MC score" editorials still haven't published reviews (Allmusic, Pitchfork, etc).

as an (almost) all music lover, I hate pitchfork :rip:

but they're funny sometimes and my favorite part is when the gay intern writes a glowing review and the score is a 0-4 :deadbanana:

First of all, this is a LIE. The biggest katy hater here is me. This research is FALSE because in order to do a scientific research, you need participants. Do we have participants who listened to this album? The numbers DONT say so.

Spoiler

:ryan3:

But i can say that the Lady Gaga part might be true because MILLIONS OF PEOPLE have heard the song and LISTENED to it by their own will. HAH!
