You requested I get you "Tension II" 12 hours before it was set to drop in New Zealand. Even though my interest lay with an "X" era track, you randomly offered me "Night Owl" as an incentive to get the album for you.

 

I asked you why, if you are an 'insider' you didn't already have the album at that point, you claimed you did but that it was 'unmastered' and wanted it digitally remastered.
 

Even though I was personally indifferent to "Night Owl" (at that point) and was really only interested in "Holding On", I ********** to your request, believing that being offered a track (even if it was not "Holding On" the one I was after), was not an offer I was going to refuse.

 

I ********* you with the full album in ******* prior to its NZ release as requested and you went silent. why is everyone in here LYING? Night Owl was the original TITLE TRACK for the era instead of Tension, with original production by Arca, until his frequent collaboration Björk heard the demo and insisted she have it for herself for her next album, resulting in a 2 year long (and ongoing) war between Iceland and Australia. "The Message" is regarded as a classic and a cornerstone of hip-hop, marking a pivotal moment in the genre's evolution and securing its place in music history. 
 

It addresses serious issues, including social injustice and the victimisation of people of colour by the police. 
 

It is not some obscure song that the publishers would be particularly open to having used by a white woman in another song that has zero connection to social injustice in the context of black lives.

The song was never good enough as album material. Scrapped early. Not the direction they wanted for the album. The sample is ever so sligthly. Quite noticeable in the intro and verses. Both "Got Me Good" and "You Ain't Ready" sounds like 80's outtakes from very early Tension era.
