I did not expect it would take them over 3 days to throw a few CDs in a jiffy bag Why is it not showing to me? can you send me a link? maybe I'm in the wrong store, I want to snatch the 3 of them before I regret spending £19.50 as you on shipping And you should send them an email and if you already did do it again, I send one email in the morning for my clear and turquoise vinyl's and they answered me right away with my shipping info, before that I didn't had any tracking # and now I have one (At least). 1
AdrianNicki Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Heavenly Body is amazing and deserves all the praise it gets. 1 3

I think they're both top 20 best songs of her career but that's just me I definitely don't hate HB but Drum is just so amazing! I wish it got more love. 3 hours ago, xluvxduffxmusicx said: This is the correct take. I've always found the chorus to be lacking. Same here. It's also begging for a really good bridge to elevate it to the next level. It's just lacking overall imo. 1
halcyonday Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Hello could go viral as a Halloween/October smasha. The lyrics are literally horror camp especially the chorus from the perspective of a serial killer. 2 1

Sparks 17. Into The Blue - Yasutaka Nakata CAPSULE Remix tbh this is the first time I'm reading about the Japanese bonus tracks being mixed into the album and not tucked at the end. Only source I could find of that other than fan forums is this: https://web.archive.org/web/20140131160813/http://wmg.jp/artist/kylieminogue/WPCR000015559.html that does have Voodoo as track 9 and track 13 as "TBD" but by march it was changed into the tracklist that got released: https://web.archive.org/web/20140314172502/http://wmg.jp/artist/kylieminogue/WPCR000015559.html ah yes i remember the title track being replaced by one of the bonuses. sparks deserved to be on the main album and even be the lead, such a great song

Heavenly Body is NOT as good as you people make it out to be. It's a good enough song but it's not even the best song on Tension let alone one of the best of her career. This wouldn't bother me too much if it were a standalone song, but it was released alongside Drum which IS genuinely amazing and it doesn't get half the praise that HB does. Drum is one of her best songs this decade overall, but it gets overlooked because of the early leak. same with someone for me heavenly body is not as great but still a good song nonetheless that deserved an official release over love train, for example 4
knewbetterpt2 Posted October 24 Posted October 24 (edited) I still think Drum and Heavenly Body should have had priority on the standard tracklist over 'Hands' and 'Green Light'. Heavenly Body feels vital to the Tension era and the atmosphere around it imo. It's reminiscent of early 90's club Kylie. The chorus is one of the best, most instant melodies across all of Tension I. It's outro is a serene mania that I wish she had explored more for part II rather digging deeper into Padams nachos (still love her though). Kylie making the best non-single on Tension a download-only bonus track that could only be purchased for a single week will go down as one of her most homophobic crimes to date! Heavenly Body is Pop excellence. Edited October 24 by knewbetterpt2 3
willmcclure9 Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Does anyone have a good tack order for a playlist with T1&2 with all songs? (collabs can be skipped, though i dont mind MOM and EoSN)

HonourableVomit Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Honestly T2 keeps me coming back more and has more of a cohesive creative identity than T1 to the point where it sounds like the first album is the one full of B-sides. If you bring over Padam, Tension & Heavenly Body you have one of her best albums. Crazy considering it's a glorified reissue. 3

Heavenly Body is Pop excellence. Heavenly Body IS that *****. It's up there with the Fever singles in terms of hooks and completely captures the ethos of Tension - the perfect mix of her emoto-pop instincts with big clubby bass and drums. The version we have doesn't sound fully finished, but even in that form it clears. It just needs like 1 extra production session to fill it out texturally and some proper mixing. If there was justice, she'd throw it onto an "Ultimate Edition" and bring it out on tour. Imagine it as the show's climax with Hold On To Now, before the encore. 3 1

I've never had an issue with the mixing on Heavenly Body tho, I'm normally sensitive to these things and the mix/mastering never bothered me on this track. Heavenly Body is a career highlight imo, we should be so lucky to have gotten the final version before it ended up another "shoulda coulda woulda" situation We've heard the demo, it's rough and early. Imagine if that's all we ever got (I think it was probably the first draft vocal she recorded, because the vocals on the final mix are re-recorded) It truly deserved placement on the album. charmed23 Posted October 24 Posted October 24 Finally listened to this. Track 1-7 is a home run. Good As Gone, Kiss Bang Bang, Hello are BOPS. I understand how people don't like how the songs sound too alike and too short. I do see how when standalone, these tracks are weak. Though it makes for a seamless club-dance play. Still, great ALBUM to play at the gym!
PaloSanto Posted October 24 Posted October 24 my ass has gone unhinged ever since her tour date here was teased yesterday and the announcement today. To the point i think this is gonna crack 1000 plays from me by noon 1 1

xluvxduffxmusicx Posted October 24 Posted October 24 My two-year old niece is such a stan. She's always loved Padam and Tension (and would specifically request Padam). But today Dance To The Music came on after breakfast and she started dancing in her car seat. 2
