BMG will pull all tricks to secure a #1 debut and keep their streak. I saw they go for a new digital edition with a different bonus track every 24 hours so we get 5 more tracks but that's just me My wallet is more than prepared to support

She's had plenty of good second singles since then. "Get Outta My Way", "Stop Me From Falling", "Magic"... 3

Anthinos Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Edge of Saturday Night is such a bop! I'm glad I haven't listened to the collaborations before and am hearing them for the first time. 1

Ms. Togekiss Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Tension I didn't click with me until this summer. On initial listen of Tension II, it's not as strong as Tension I I feel. Stand out track is My Oh My, what a BANGER 1 1 3
Thickorita Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Not her snatching a Noonie credit despite her being on maternity leave
rta1913 Posted October 18 Posted October 18 I haven't had time to write my reaction/review... so many bops It's honestly a bliss and a party to play this from start to finish (maybe we stop at Midnight Ride some times). I am not going to claim this is her best album ever or that is some groundbreaking piece of work, but that's it, it does not have to be. Kylie has given us a lot of pop masterpieces throughout her career, that it's ok to just have fun and put out cute dance music to dance the night away. I like Tension 1 but honestly, I was a little underwhelmed when the rest of tracks didn't give me cvnty energy like Padam and Tension. This one is more straightforward and in your face and gives me what was promised: bangers, nightclub anthems, beats, etc. Is 2 better than 1, too early to tell, but I am having a blast playing this. Like even the songs that sounds like her past eras feel more at home here than they did in the OG album. Like GAG and DTTM which are very DISCO Kylie fit here very smoothly. While Green Light and One More Time sounded out of place in the frist album. I don't mind the features as I actually like them (EOSN is amazing, MR is a super bop, MOM is a cute and catchy rehash, DA is probably my least fave but a cute listen from time to time) and it's fun to have them in a physical format, but for my streaming version I am only using 1-11. The other two are in their respective artists' albums. I feel like it's too early to do rankings but if I had to (just the new songs), as of now: Taboo > Someone for Me > Diamonds > Good As Gone > Kiss Bang Bang > Hello > Shoulda Left Ya > Dance to the Music
Cruel Summer Posted October 18 Posted October 18 Oh, Shoulda Left Ya is that girl for me I was worried for a second that we wouldn't get the traditional All I See/Everything Is Beautiful/Feels So Good/Sincerely Yours/Celebrate You/Just Imagine of the album (I have no clue what to call this category and debated putting Dance Floor Darling here instead of Celebrate You) but of course Kylie came through

She just does this particular range of emotions and sounds in a way nobody else can do it! 1
