I think people like her for different reasons hahaha For me, LOVE Tension II. Will be enjoying it a TON 1
Kern Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I just don't enjoy them that much like the others. It's really not that deep 1
Taylor fanboy Posted October 17 Posted October 17 You gotta give it to Mother for still bringing in the bops. Her peers from before and after could never. 1
butter.f.ly Posted October 17 Posted October 17 feeling nostalgic for kylie and bridges... need them to reunite fr this album has some cute moments! but the padam-chasing makes it feel a touch too calculated and less genuine than the usual KM fare... she's above some of these songs. i'm sure i'll listen to T2 plenty and have it grow on me... but i'm looking forward to the new direction she's hinted at for the next album. 1 1 6
Moonbeam Posted October 17 Posted October 17 This is a lot better than it has a right to be, and I am relieved! Of the 9 new ones, "Loghts Camera Action" is my least favorite, but it's at least decent. Honestly, all 16 released from Tension are at least good, with "Tension" and "Story" ranking among her top 10 songs ever and several others being outstanding ("Things We Do for Love", "Padam Padam", "Heavenly Body", "Drum", "Hands", "Somebody to Love"). It's a very high bar. The collabs that followed (other than "Edge of Saturday Night") were such a massive step down that I feared the worst here, but she came good in the end! 1
Moonbeam Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) Faves so far are "Taboo", "Someone for Me", "Good as Gone", and "Shoulda Left Ya". Woo hoo! Edited October 17 by Moonbeam 1
Pop Music Aussie Posted October 17 Posted October 17 So as a Kylie fan since the mid 80s this is one of her best pop albums. Tension 1 introduced the young ones to her and part 2 brings more of her style into the mix! Taboo becomes one of my favourite songs of all time from the legend! Bring on the tour in February 1 1
ZENO Posted October 17 Posted October 17 (edited) No like seriously, I'm only at track 7 but... Tension II is light years better than Tension I. This is heavenly. Bridges are needed tho. Edited October 17 by ZENO 1
Saint James Posted October 17 Posted October 17 ok on second listen Diamonds may be doing a little something 💎 1
Dante Silva Posted October 17 Posted October 17 I'm glad they've ditched the 80's synth tunes (from "Tension I") in favour of 90's sounding EDM dance tracks. 2

AmericanGirl Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Whoever produced the vocals on the bulk of the record needs to be fired, way too much tuning/distortion...the mastering if off too smh this is a pop legend BMG needs to properly invest in. 2 1

Vocal Recording Engineer is miss Kylie. I love that she does it on her own most of the time, but it's filtered as hell 2 1

Asparagus Spears Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Someone for me is top tier Kylie. Lostboy brings the best out in Kylie. They need to work together a lot more. Hope Tik Tok picks it up 6

Nah , you must just not understand pop music! This is perfect! Miss Kylie did the vocal production herself and it sounds amazing! 1
Pop Music Aussie Posted October 17 Posted October 17 Someone needs to do a mash up of Kylie - Good as Gone X Dannii - Gone it would work so well! 3
