Kylie Minogue - 'Tension II'

It's a nice blend of pop genres. One song, the Biff Stannard penned one, reminds me of Britney Spears megahit 'Toxic'. Another one is a more odd melancolic sister to 'Story'. And you have some more electronic dance/trance influenced songs than on the first part of Tension. One with almost an electronic samba beat produced by LostBoy. Nothing like 'Padam Padam'. The album's sound is not so cohesive.  There's club Kylie. Light Years Kylie. DISCO Kylie. Overall a more dynamic, electronic edgier dance sound.

Not you trying to sell this as your own knowledge and as reliable source

So no deluxe? I thought it was coming as the current edition is labeled as standard on her store.

Kylie described "Tattoo" as sister song to "Toxic" so I have really high expectations now

I think they wait and announce it maybe next week or the following one.

The only thing I'm afraid is looking at the songs duration is that they will all be instant ear-worms but will lack longevity and we get bored of them pretty quickly

I know right, the fact that Midnight Ride is the longest track on the album at 3:31... :gaycat7: Extension II better be ready

but extended version gives you just extra instrumental, these songs are really missing proper bridge which would progress into final encore chorus :/

You make it sound like it leans towards "camp" when in fact it's leaning towards way cooler, harder beats for clubbers with the partial function of giving shape and nuance to the recovering, post covid nighttime economy. There is a time and a place for camp, this era is not it!

I would love LCA on 12" vinyl with that picture I hope there is some physicals coming because she might have a semi hit on her hands

They would be wise to lip-sync the video with the "Confidence Man Remix", (with an additional minute or so of full glossed video) whilst matching scenes with the "whoosh" sound to her hair blowing in the wind then side upload it to her official YouTube channel as that's the mix most segments are feeling. (They probably won't though). It's also a shame that particular remix is not extended enough to match the requirements of certain key clubs.

Girl, I gave you information first of Padam Padam. Revealed the title. You didn't believed me. Handed information about half the record which was published on other sites. Songs like Tension, Hold on to Now, Things We Do For Love and Vegas High. You got information about most of the outtakes and rest of album. Videos with unleaked clips of songs that started showing up on Twitter. So please 🙏 sh*t up.

I'm probably the only one not feeling the Confidence Man remix. Zach Witness one clears all the others imo

Hello is very Disco. Most of the new images is very Light Years and let's not talk about the album version of Good as Gone. And I'm NOT talking about the camp aspect of it!

As long as you think the actual song is good, I can live with that

I just hope she doesn't have too many My Oh My type Padam rehashes :monkey:

I'm the proudest Kylie stan but My Oh My is the first ever song of hers I didn't dare share on my socials in fear of being dragged :monkey:

Luckily the album is shaping up to be way different and she's back in top form with LCA

It's time to accept they've been moved to semi-unreleased purgatory next to Magnetic Electric and Mighty Rivers :chick3:
