Exactly and @Almighty Gaga has been on this website since I was in the 3rd grade :ahh: definitely not too far off from Katy. And it probably doesn't take care of itself either.

Just because Brazilians stan passionately , it does not mean that all internacional acts have a widespread audience in Brazil. For example, if you weren't a middle class teenager girl in 2008 you probably didn't know who Demi Lovato was in Brazil, despite her success. Katy Perry was the same case, I guess
Also, a reminder that Brazil mostly listens to local music.

Didn't Camp Rock come out in 2008??? Ofc every teen girl knew who Demetria was at the time... ppl seem to gravitate more towards her than Selena or Miley for some reason
