Kern Posted September 18 Posted September 18 ROL was the fist 'spiritual' pop album made by a popstar. Anytime your faves have their 'spiritual' era - it's inspired by ROL that did it first. Brat is just another soundtrack for drug use - yikes! 1 1
Daddy Posted September 18 Posted September 18 RoL is FAR from my fave Madonna album. It's severely overrated in my opinion. Brat >>>>> 2

(wikipedia) Ok? ROL having possibly influenced Jessica Alba, Dr. OZ, 25 and Loose (Nelly's well known spiritual era ) still doesn't make it the "the fist spiritual pop album made by a popstar". Many pop stars had spiritual/introspective eras before Madonna. Marvin Gaye, Janet Jackson, David Bowie, Stevie Wonder just to name a few. 2
