Lagerfeld Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Now, I'm seeing a lot of gays on social media giving it... more praise than it deserves. It's a little too early to tell. However! I feel that Gen-Z may jump on the trend and create Eusexua autumn. What do we think?
Pendulum Posted September 17 Posted September 17 (edited) I HOPE THE **** NOT!!! Eusexua and twigs' music and visuals in general are a more left field for the GP's taste anyway. So no, I don't want to see the bratification of Eusexua. Of course Charli's my girl and I'm immensely happy for brat's success but it being a "trend" brought so many locals who were bandwagoning without actually listening to the music or delving deep into Charli's discography. My love for brat sorta died down whenever everybody and their mother and their corporations jumped on the brat hype. Sometimes music should be gatekept. All those masses of locals that flocked to brat are now dissecting every single thing Charli does and says. This wouldn't be good for twigs. Edited September 17 by Pendulum 9
Jay07 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Nah, brat was very upbeat, sexy, in your face even if the music had some darker themes. Whatever twigs does is not that. 1 1

no_better Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Absolutely not. Twigs' sound is not mainstream enough for that 1
unison stan Posted September 17 Posted September 17 it can be brat level success in quality and acclaim fields but i don't think their commercial performance would be similar. winter will still be eusexua winter tho
Last Boy on Earth Posted September 17 Posted September 17 (edited) What do you mean more praise than it deserves? Both FKA and Charli have made excellence since their debut, especially FKA whose discography has a total of 0 flaws so far. Anything they release starting now should be praised to high heavens to compensate for the fact that they've always been paid dust, Eusexua is great anyways and no it won't ever have Brat success as Twigs sound and looks are too left field to leave the bubble of those who stan her. Johnny Jacobs Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Oh lord. Had to Google the name cause I didn't knew what you meant and chile i thought it was doja for a sec 2
RussianRoulette Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Eusexua is only for a selective group of gurls and girls. Not everyone has the ability to comprehend its greatness.

Jay07 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Just now, KatyPrismSpirit said: yes, very much in your face, very sexy! In your face and upbeat to describe that hushed, sensitive song? I realize it's coming from a KatyKat but surely comparing eusexua which literally has no hook to buoyant pop songs like apple and 360 is not a matter of having no taste but actually having no hearing.
Joesuxx Posted September 17 Posted September 17 Absolutely not the word Brat is far more marketable than Eusexua, this'll be a flash in the pan.

It's what us depressed ex-communist girlies are bopping to at 3 in the morning in an abandoned warehouse, babe. Get with the vibe. 1
CottageHore Posted September 17 Posted September 17 No, twigs is a bit too obscure and experimental for the GP, even for the girls who love to pretend they get it. And the album doesn't drop for months so definitely no EUSEXUA autumn
Windy Day Posted September 17 Posted September 17 alt girls are trendy but i think twigs is way too edgy for the mainstream girlies who can't even handle charli's music before brat i can see it being a cult classic with the gays and girls that gets it tho
theweekend Posted September 17 Posted September 17 no. it's more experimental than brat. GP won't touch it except if there's a radio hit there which I doubt.
