If you want a real answer, it's because the US government throughout the last 50-60 years showed it's ability to smother leftist organizing and revolutionaries in a way it simply doesn't do for the right because the right-wing occupy the government's institutions, whether under a Democratic presidency or a Republican presidency.

 

I mean, this guy was literally insane tweeting and the US government literally let him fly to Ukraine to go try and join a foreign military (something illegal under the constitution):

Meanwhile you can be a progressive doing something as mild as protesting genocide on your college campus and even the liberal stakeholders will call in the police state on you and then charge you with felonies filed by someone who is meant to be the progressive DA of your county:

There's more right-wing militia violence because both major parties award right-wing violence.

I want to also think it's because leftist views ultimately are un-essentialist and rooted in social constructionist ideas that lead to the belief that most people are inherently good, though I respect there are material conditions in the Global South where revolution occurs and leftists simply react to ensure the overall safety of their loved ones.

 

But again, that's the point. The American left - we as a movement - can't even do simple peaceful protests without the threat of violence by the state against us, while right-wingers proudly air out their desire for mass violence against other humans. Leftists are not violent. The American left don't committ political violence nor do we want to. We support material conditions that give everyone an equal quality of living. We can't even protest against the destruction of things like the environment being destroyed to train more cops without risking being killed by the US empire:

And then liberals will be like  "odd I don't see leftists living up to their name and fire-bombing their enemies". 

Every black anti-police brutality activist who firebombed that Minneosta police station over George Floyd is now dead. Like you're laughing at the reality that the US is a far-right empire.

This. I noticed the double standard, especially after January 6. Nobody would have gotten away with storming the Capitol if the US had been a fair country.
