The Weeknd definitely seems to be mimicking a more Katy Perry-like career shift right now, transitioning from radio friendly pop girl (Starboy, After Hours, BBTM) into a more unsuccessul, panned artist and performer (Dawn FM, Hurry Up Tomorrow). Hurry Up Tomorrow will probably be her Witness, underperforming singles left and right but she will solidify a vanishing fanbase and will really flop even if it seems like a career lull

Dancing In The Max Martin Files deserves to flop. He has been relying on that man and his production for almost a decade now. Give it up!

The production is fire, and it goes hard (FAR better than Take My Breath), but both this song and TMB are weak as hell. Perched for the album. DawnFM had FAR better songs and singles than the lead.
