Will Dua Lipa wait 3-4 years again to release her next album?

'Future Nostalgia' came 3 years after 'Dua Lipa'.

'Radical Optimism' came 4 years after 'Future Nostalgia'.

Do you think Dua Lipa will wait 3 or 4 years again to release her next album, which would mean 2027 or 2028 for DL4?

And would be wise for her to wait so long to drop a new album?

Well she waited a long time because she had to reschedule her tour four times because of Covid. We could have had DL3 in 2022 under normal circumstances.

I personally don't think we'll be getting a new album until 2027. She needs time to write herself into an idea and after this tour she's gonna go on a LONG ass break

I think it will be coming shortly after the tour and its going to be a bit more ambitious than her last effort

She better not. Someone on her team, or someone at her label, needs to emphasise the importance of getting back to the top of the charts.

She can't afford to sit on Radical Optimism for 3-4 years. I'm surprised she's even doing a full tour on it. Even the end of next year seems like a stretch.

If she fired her dad, his replacement would say "you need to have an album ready to go by summer 2025."

She turns 30 next summer and the next generation of girls are coming in hot.

That was her last album. She sells ice cream now.

The single at the end of 2025 is my guess. With a lot of features during 2025

As if she hasn't been on a long ass break since the end of the FN tour :suburban:

she should state that RO was a buzz album then release DL4 asap (before releasing DL4 she should add cold heart, that barbie song and many more to RO to make it look like it didn't flop)

Probably. I mean, i still remember (can't find the source though) that she said in a interview that she wants to release like maximum of 4 or 5 albums in her career with long breaks between so :skull:

If you look at her schedule, she'd only really have Dec- Feb to record that. Can't see it.

At the end of the tour she'll be two months past thirty and worth squillions so it's her choice what she does really. Maybe other avenues will take her in different directions from the tour/album/tour/album treadmill she's effectively been on since she was 18?

Eurovision participation for Kosovo is on the table for her

She has a last chance to release another album by mid2025 tops.

Otherwise chances are gone imo

3/4 years is way too long for her

she should release a new album right after her tour

I can see her getting into more acting and giving up music tbh

it would be best if she has another album out by the end of 2025

DON'T YOU DARE, MISS PEEP. :khalyan2:

Considering how fast the good sis RO came and went, she needs a follow up out by early 2025

New album needs to be out by next year with more exciting music than what RO was

We used to troll Ri for shamelessly releasing album after album every year, but she kind of had the tea. It's better to accept that an album or era underperformed and quickly move on to the next one, rather than trying to salvage something that's already over or being lazy and taking a year off to do nothing.

No way :deadbanana: are you serious???

She's about to tour for all of 2025 so unless she has already started to work on new music, DL4 in 2027 at the minimum is the reality.

I've called it with Houdini, January, album roll out, and the 2025 tour so take this as you will.

Yes. I can't seem to find the interview right now but it was from like 2021-2022 and she said exactly that :rip:

If she's smart, she'll drop the gays on the next album and do something for soccer moms.
