the way chappell could easily go #1 if she were to release a music video for glb…. but she revealed for rolling stones that her label has been trying to convince her to record one all summer long and she keeps dodging them bc she's tired and too burnt out to shoot one. like GIRL BFFR. just record sumn.

How is Lose Control gaining points? It's really never going to die :deadbanana4:

Yeah, something is really fishy about this. All of the other big hits during this time (Cruel Summer, PTTR, Lovin on Me, I Remember Everything, etc.) have already fallen off the chart, yet this one is going strong.

It's going to be embarrassing when Lose Control is higher than songs like Flowers and Cruel Summer on the all-time Hot 100. Flowers and CS were really big hits, LC just compiled weeks in the Top 10 when the charts were weak.

Like, I get that she's burnt out and squeezing in a big music video shoot is a lot. But girl... this is your breakthrough hit single, you're having a moment right now that most artists can only dream of ever having. When Gaga was on her meteoric rise, she hustled 24/7 and worked herself to the bone, everything was done 150%. This period won't last forever and her career will eventually settle into a more manageable place, I feel like she should grit her teeth and push it to the limit until then.

Chappell confirmed once again that there won't be a video for GLB. Filming one now would be too late anyway. Hope it could sneak into the Top 3 and the album goes #1 next week.

Imagine if he reaches 16 weeks at #1 on his own (like Last Night), then releases a remix, and performs it at the CMAs in November (with Beyoncé :eli: ) :rip:

I really wish Espresso could have sneaked at least one week at #1 but absolutely monstrous regardless :wanda:

Drop the video Chappell :jonny3:

Radio needs to drop ABS song faster, that's basically what's keeping it atop with such a large gap.

I have been seeing people complaining about ABS weekly but it's actually such a well rounded #1? It was #2 Streaming Songs, #2 Digital Songs (below a BTSxMegan song) and #1 Radio Songs last week. I thought it was outside the Top 5 on streaming or something.

That said, radio still being counted this much is such a joke especially since they take forever to jump on new tracks and then an eternity to let them go. Their Global chart is kinda more reflective of actual consumption and what's actually popular.

Week 16 would get us to the tracking week of 10/18-10/24. With the following week being Halloween (falling on a Thursday this year), imagine if ABS run at #1 is upended by Thriller finally reaching #1 after all these years.

Why would they drop the most demanded song? If anything music labels should release more music. The scene is so dead these old ass songs are dominating by unanimity. Not even music videos are done anymore.

I remember last spring some on here were worried ABS wouldn't get a #1 H100 week at all. Now that competition is behind ABS which is going on 11 weeks. IHSH probably will have 10 #2 wks NW, right?

LC actually has more points than when Cruel Summer spent some of its time in the T5. That being said I'm ready for LC to go SRC. At this point we may need Christmas to make that happen though.
