LittleStarmen Posted September 12 Posted September 12 They need to evolve and make it livestream online easier 7 2
Arthoe Posted September 12 Posted September 12 ...wow TV in America truly is over, they're getting 4 million and it's UP in viewership? 1 3
Doctor Dick Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Well, no surprise. They had Sabrina and Chappell who are both huge and are among the most consumed artists. When you have star power you get the ratings. 3
JustHoran Posted September 12 Posted September 12 It was a pretty good show! Sabrina and Chappell did that I still love the VMA's even if I miss the crazyness the show use to have
massenlight Posted September 12 Posted September 12 4 millions.... God help us, I dont want this to end 1

If the show had been streamed on a streaming service live as well then ratings would be bigger. TV is not dead since people still mostly stream on there televisons. 2 1

The VMAs are still a major networking event for the biggest artists in the world, and many moments from the show go viral on Reels, TikTok, etc. Plus, the performances and awards clips get millions of views on YouTube. It's still a relevant event—just not on TV, lol. 2

Rainbows Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Well when new and interesting artists that people are excited about are performing, people will watch.
Vermouth Posted September 12 Posted September 12 Are these USA figures? 4m out of 330m or thereabouts? Dear God that's just pathetic.
TouchinFree Posted September 12 Posted September 12 The comments throwing names to flex "ratings" for 4M is hilarious ngl Vmas is truly over.

Scandalous Posted September 13 Posted September 13 yeah it's definitely insane how MTV still refuses to make their most viral shows like the VMAs and Drag Race so inaccessible to stream 2 1
