Chemist Posted October 12 Posted October 12 B2b and mean girls finally grew on me. The only remix i still find unbearable is the Apple remix, but it's more of a personal preference, i truly cannot stand that watered down production style in songs. I checked thr japanese house music and her songs are all like that 1
Draper. Posted October 12 Posted October 12 This album is so impressive the more I listen to it. Charli makes it seem easy but this could have gone wrong in so many ways. It really couldn't have been possible if the original material in Brat wasn't excellent. It also puts into perspective how good the working relationship is between Charli and her producers and how she has completely mastered working with someone else's input throughout the years, wether it's samples or collabs. 7

makeawish Posted October 12 Posted October 12 is that one of the haim girls singing on i think about it all the time? there's some proper singing on that and i thought "that's not charli" lol
Draper. Posted October 12 Posted October 12 It did 19,5m streams from Spotify Charts only, and only counting remix tracks. It might have done over 25m streams overall counting the original album. 1
FLAallday Posted October 12 Posted October 12 It's so wild how massive of a year Charli has had. It's insanely fulfilling to consume and I'm so glad she plans on taking a music break after this she absolutely deserves her time off to do whatever she wants. Charli xcx artist of the year 2024 it's not up for debate. 5
DevinWylde Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I think it's interesting that the So I remix is built in a way to mirror or parallel 365, with the verses being formatted in the same way. Replacing the bumpin' that line with the good times line. That alongside the samples and call backs to Sophie's work make the song feel like a full blown culmination of everything. 5
justin. Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Words cannot explain how badly I need this **entire album injected into my veins Spoiler **except the Mean Girls remix 2
ImpressMeMuch Posted October 12 Posted October 12 (edited) The Billie remix had me fearful the Ariana remix would be lazy (simple?) / chart chasing and I am so impressed that it is the complete opposite but also I'm not surprised, Ari has that imogean stan deep in her that knows how to get weird Edited October 12 by ImpressMeMuch 3

Braz Posted October 12 Posted October 12 New peak on Daily Top Artists for Charli at #6. Absolutely massive.
4Walls Posted October 12 Posted October 12 (edited) You know I always thought SIAK was a little too repetitive for me, like I get kinda bored of it half way through. But omg….I love the remix. The chorus works better for me personally and I love how melancholic the verses are. Plus Ari sounds great on it. Idk I def prefer it to the original. So I remix is better than the OG too, and I got to see AG play it live last night which was really surreal. Those are the only two remixes that are truly better than the original. Well maybe except the ITAIATT remix. Kinda shocked how much Bon Iver gagged me Edited October 12 by 4Walls 1
ImpressMeMuch Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I think about it all the time should have been the closer Outstanding. Vocals!

ImpressMeMuch Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I hope she adds spring breakers and hello goodbye feels so odd to leave off those two
BlackoutZone Posted October 12 Posted October 12 Interesting how the remix album is missing one pretty relevant song and one pretty obvious feature
