Daddy Posted October 10 Posted October 10 By the way, the Mean Girls remix contains a clear interpolation of this classic but there's no credit on Spotify from what I can see? Or am I tripping?
willmcclure9 Posted October 10 Posted October 10 The essays in here God Charli fans are so pretentious sometimes 2
Chemist Posted October 10 Posted October 10 Club Classics remix is insane. And it actually should be called 365 remix pt 2 or something because it has more of 365 than of Club classics 3

Chemist Posted October 10 Posted October 10 the obvious hyperpop moments on So I remix. Oh A.G Cook the god that you are 1
Pop Fan Posted October 10 Posted October 10 So I've made some mess here but I'm actually not a Charli hater lol. I was joking about her going back to the Khia asylum lol. I wouldn't say I'm an angel or like a big fan. Her music just wasn't my thing. Brat was the first time that I started to get her as an artist and I really loved listening to the whole album. I love that there are so many bangers on it, it's simple and blunt but also a rich and complex album, I really love it. The remix album is not my thing and that's totally fine. I LOVE Girl, So Confusing, Guess and Talk Talk Remixes. They are so good and better than og tracks. But that's kinda it for me. I don't like any other album from Charli and this remix album was mostly made for her core fanbase.
Spicy Pisces Posted October 10 Posted October 10 The replay value in Sympathy?? omfg is a knife when, is a knife when, IS A KNIFE WHEN Also I never expected to like this remix of I might say something stupid this much 6

Riverbank Posted October 10 Posted October 10 I'm a bit underwhelmed ngl I really wanted to like this. I'm lowkey devastated over B2b. I had very high expectations for that one considering it had Tinashe on it and the original is my fave song on the album, but the remix does nothing to me... I never clicked with OG Apple but the remix is slightly better I guess. Girl so confusing & Talk talk are the only remixes close enough to the OGs quality wise IMO 2 1
Mocha Posted October 10 Posted October 10 oh wow, this is breathing new life into the album for me my faves are b2b, apple and sympathy. my least fave is the bladee bits sadly

It only makes sense with Girl, So Confusing and Guess which are basically the same song. But they kind of ruin the originals because the remixes are obviously better. I think the rest of these remixes stand as their own thing without having to be compared with the original material, and most of them provide great lines and new choruses and sounds that fit perfectly in the Brat era. 6 1
Lord Gaga Posted October 10 Posted October 10 This is really like a whole new album the reverse track 10 to blame it on your love pipeline
ONOPKA Posted October 10 Posted October 10 mean girls is my fave of the new remixes charli houston-dion-carey made her debut fr 1
willmcclure9 Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Not sure how to add this to my library for my OCD Last FM purposes.... Usually I add remixes as disc. 2 of the album theyre from
Contessa Posted October 11 Posted October 11 mean girls & eir remixes grew on me a little only ones i dont use are imsss, apple, and itaiatt remixes
SpaceOddity Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Great project, not better than the album itself and I doubt the locals that loved the original will stream much of this but it's a genius move and a great companion piece for her to go berserk and make brat more experimental and weirder.
Relampago. Posted October 11 Posted October 11 I'm still an OEIRRH, I need Caroline to take her banshee ghost echo ass singing to a Bjork collab or something cause I'm tired of her doing the same thing on all these tracks Rosalía sweetie………….!!!! 1
Contessa Posted October 11 Posted October 11 yeah eir is done dirty cuz the original had so much potential with a new verse or even crazier instrumentals. but after the stream where she said this album was mostly made to explore the endless possibilities of the elements of a song, i get what she tried to go for. i don't have to love it, but i get it 1
Contessa Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) it's kind of the same ethos as OIL OF EVERY PEARL'S UN-INSIDES Remix Album (NON STOP). Taking elements from a song, stripping it down and turning it into something else entirely. which is what made that remix album amazing. but it also had a sense of direction or consistency where everything punched. this one feels more like a mixed bag with so many diff collaborators and vibes that made it less than amazing. Relampago. Posted October 11 Posted October 11 Of the new remixes, Club classics, B2b and 365 are my favorites I like most of them tho. Only IMSSS is really bad. 1
