Such good energy and stage presence, I haven't seen her like this in a long time. And congratulations for the award too, long overdue! 

I feel like Woman's World backlash was the wake up call she needed to realise no one actually likes the camp feel anymore. It worked for Teenage Dream, but by PRISM people were over it.

It shows that ATRL can actually be objective and acknowledge when someone does well. After 8 years of constant flopping, I think she deserves to be recognised for doing a good job on something.

 

It was good. Is 143 beyond saving? Most definitely. But it was good.

 

I think it also shows that she's not giving up. She's going to keep making music, regardless of how it performs, and given how high her peak was, people will probably pay attention.

Yeah I used to think this site is full of people who are like sheep and majority of them hate her guts and always have, but this thread is surprisingly objective (except for a few tryhard losers ofc)

Yeah but I kinda like this dark/industrial atmosphere, I mean many of us kcs are still waiting for a dark album so...

Good performance (for her standards). The pre record was ON. I'm glad my sis doechii got some kind of benefit from being on this song.

This was cute! She looked good, Doechii was great and the remixes were fun. Its such a shame about the way the era unfolded because this performance was actually really inspired!

TBH Dark Horse had an excellent Pagan/Coven theme that was trashed for a concept of a Pharaoh being presented Cheetos so certain negativity was expected.

if this performance is any indication of how the tour will look like, we're in for a great show! she looks hot and sound good, and i'm glad she dropped the "over the top" camp   at least the visuals this era are eating!

The ideas were great the execution and vocal's, not so much. I also wasn't the fondest of the songs and how they flowed. It's good for Katy Perry standards.

The performance was really good!  I think she could have thrown in some old visuals, had some scenery changes to really show some of the iconography of her career but it was solid.

Very impressive performance, especially after I wasn't expecting much (VMA budget has really gone down hill). Weird she skipped Roar tho.
