Dark Phoenix Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Love the song, it really has strong lyrics and her voice is so good, it feels like she has a purpose now, I wonder if she will release a video for this one. The song is in a few NMF playlists so at least it will have some support the first week. 1
davidson Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Great song, great single Can't wait for the album. 1
Young In Love Posted September 20 Posted September 20 oh this is gorgeous!! ugh i love Gwen so much and now i'm hyped for the album yes it might sound country to some but y'all are just boring; the hook (just like Purple Irises) is classic Gwen 1

I really think an album with that and Let Me Reintroduce Myself would have been good. Is definitely one of her best songs. I like this, obviously I was hoping for something edgier, electro and quirky but this result really works for her! It does sound a bit country tho Edited September 20 by Afterglow 1
Great Username Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Omg this is soooooooo good You're somebody else's And I PRAY for them whoever they are Every day with you was rock bottom Leaving you saved me, MY GOD And the cute twist of "you're somebody else's problem" at the end of the chorus No this is a classic... literally a classic... Feels like such a complete statement, every part of the sing so carefully considered. 2 1
Great Username Posted September 20 Posted September 20 You gaslit my world, it was burning Had to leave before it stopped turning So happy I could cry 'Cause YOU'RE NOT MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE No it's literally the best sing of all time 2 1
Great Username Posted September 20 Posted September 20 The "ooh"s, "ahh"s and "wow"s punctuating the verses are so infectious and add so much personality, this sing feels so lived in, ughhh 1
Bencharmer Posted September 20 Posted September 20 Glad she took a more "adult contemporary" road. Her last poppy pop songs weren't that great (ok they were totally forgettable) and too much try hard. This new style totally fits her. 2
Ger Posted September 20 Posted September 20 (edited) I like thiss, it's lowkey "chill" and still obviously rockish especially with those drums, but it gives me carefree vibes, I was not expecting it at all, but dig to this sound! Wait the "MIIIINE" part, she better SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!! Edited September 20 by Ger 1
Mr. Duff Posted September 20 Posted September 20 The drums give me rock-ish vibes even though it's still pretty tame. Kinda like the most recent Matchbox Twenty music which is great. i hope this gets traction, I think this is her best single in a while. And her vocals is great! 1
LovaticSwiftie Posted September 20 Posted September 20 This is beautiful, I hope most of the album will sound like this! 2
raddestking Posted September 20 Posted September 20 She can always do quirky again later, but this vibe just suits her so much better right now bc we know it's what she's really feeling... this is the music she really wants to make, and you can so feel that difference compared to a forced-copy-of-previous-Gwen song. Honestly sounds more rock than country to me 3
Hex Posted September 20 Posted September 20 This is cute. Giving 80s pop-rock, wish there was a touch more reverb on her voice and the drums to really match that vibe though 1
TrueBlood Posted September 20 Posted September 20 This is actually way better than I expected, it might lead to a cute pop rock album.
jhmacal Posted September 20 Posted September 20 The reception has been so positive. I think the album will be great would love a tour even if not that big
