She was just filming something last month. She never said visuals are scrapped.

 

What was she supposed to say? That she's not releasing them until act iii is out, which might be two years from now, and have people asking her all the time during all that time? She's not teasing anything so explicitly anymore after how insistent everyone has been about the visuals since day one.

 

EDIT: And she just teased new visuals again in the commercial for SirDavis. Why would she do that if they're scrapped and that can cause new anticipation?

The real reason why the visuals never came out is bcoz nobody bought them. It was already revealed by Variety (I think) that she was shopping them around but almost all streaming services said they weren't interested so yeah, she decided to not put them out cuz she wasn't gonna get paid.
