As much as I really like The Weeknd, I was a bit disappointed by his Halftime

Prince was legendary, Bruno was good, Usher was great. Abel was a disappointment, his vibe doesn't work for the halftime show.

Prince had one of the best and most iconic shows ever. Usher was good but I wouldn't call it iconic.

 

Bruno did the halftime show too early in his career. He would have been way better if he did it after 24K Magic came out.

 

I love the Weeknd but his music doesn't really fit the Super Bowl tbh.

Couldn't agree more. The transition was epic and represented such a beautiful full-circle moment for him. I also love how the field was used.

 

And let's not forget all the memes that spawned from the "Can't Feel My Face" segment, with GIFs that are still being used to this day.
