naval23 Posted September 7 Share Posted September 7 I love her songwriting in this one - it has so many lyrical gems If all you want is grey for me, then it's just white noise and this is my choice It had humor- imagine hearing "I'm having his baby!!!!" for the first time in a lyric only to get whiplash with "No I'm not" ... I always wondered how epic it would be if she changed the final one to "Yes I am!" It had anger and lyrical SCATHING that gives real Dear John vibes except it's to her some of her judgemtnal fans like a school teacher scolding her students... "I'LL TELL YOU SOMETHING RIGHT NOW! ID RATHER BURN MY WHOLE LIFE DOWN. THEN LISTEN TO ONE MORE SECOND OF ALL THIS BITCHING & MOANING! ILL TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT MY GOOD NAME...ITS MINE ALONE TO DISGRACE...
