Right. Even the most basic surface level research would make this obvious but her haters are so blinded they would rather believe a Zionist tabloid rag than use common sense.

 

The fake quote is from "Times of Israel" (    ) and they cite her 2014 interview with The Independent as the source. But of course the actual interview doesn't even mention those words or Israel at all.

I'm so tired of performative activism. This isn't doing anything to help with the Free Palestine movement and uprising.

 

Instead of trying to garner some woke points on Twitter, open your bag and donate, I know you have that kind of money Tyler. Organize fundraisers with whatever audience you have left. Use your clout to pressure people who actually can make a difference. 

 

That being said, I don't think it's wrong to also try and pressure influential celebrities like Gaga to speak up, but don't come at it from an angle that looks so performative.

People are allowed to change their mind, and while Gaga has been silent, Tyler has done a lot of useful activism for the Palestinian people. I'm not trying defend either cause this is a useless tweet with fake quotes, but he isn't wrong in calling out her absence, as we should all be doing to people who have such a huge platform.
