Miranda is more quotable for me but Cruella is… Cruella.

She's definitely more iconic of the two, especially outside of just gays.

Cruella, I knew her as a child. I have never seen the Meryl movie.

As a character Cruella is more iconic but Glenn Close's Cruella is less iconic than Streep's Miranda Presley.

Cruella is overall  a more popular pop culture figure, not necessarily thanks to Glenn. Miranda is kind of more referenced among gen z though.

Miranda Priestly is overrated, I love The Devil Wears Prada but I can't believe people thought that role should've won Meryl an Oscar :rip:

Cruella. You can tell Glenn had a blast doing that role and Anthony Powell did wonders with the costume design

Could we discuss Glenn Close's Cruella De Vil costumes designed by Anthony Powell? Most of them are Mugler inspired. : r/costumeporn

her performance in devil wears prada is expertly calibrated and full of interesting acting choices, way more impressive than her acting in iron lady that actually won her an oscar. the oscars are just insanely biased against comedic performances.
