The new movie Joker: Folie à Deux has premiered, and critics are not fans. However! Many of them praised Gaga's acting in particular, stating that she needed more screen time to shine. Would more screen time for Gaga have allowed her talents to shine and raised the movie's ratings?

Yes. Clearly these directors are secretly incels who are afraid of her potential that's why they try to limit her screen time as much as possible. Hopefully, next time Gaga chooses a director that actually cares about her character enough and give her the screen time she deserves

maybe, but critics are on Todds neck and they blame him as the reason of not fully liking the movie.while they praise gaga/ joaquin but some people bash joaquin too for no reason

Being acclaimed in all of her three acting roles sounds like acting skills to me

No but actually they hoodwinked all the Gaga fans with the marketing for this. Making her seem like she's a main character for her to not even show up once in the entire second half of the movie??? A mess

it sucks that they marketed this as Gaga having equal billing to Joaquin only to hear that she isnt in like 50% of the movie and that they may have deleted some potentially iconic scenes she filmed...super frustrating

I mean one of the main complaints is that the end is boring and Gaga goes away. This was exactly the same issue with House Of Gucci. I haven't seen this one but Gucci was good when it focused on her and the bad parts were about other characters. She does wonderful work with fun over the top characters. 

 

The first Joker isn't great though, I still liked it but I agree with a lot of the issues other people have with it. So idk if Todd Phillips making a great movie was ever on the cards, he's obviously afraid of just making it more of a musical.
