Le Grande Posted September 7 Posted September 7 The movie has a lower MC score than This Is Me Now...Something Something! ? Well, how DREDAFUL is that? Since she hasn't been able to book a decent role in half a decade and unable to score a solo hit in 8 years, it is obvious that the GP does not have any interest in her at all. It's time to board the Born Brave bus and head to... Alaskan wilderness where we will never see or hear from her ever again. 1 2 6 1 23

Not when critics all collectively said Gaga was underutilized in this film and some even said this movie was a waste of her talent. Trolls used to use their brains. 8

It's predicted to open with $115-145 million opening weekend, so yeah, it's safe to say it's one of the most anticipated movies of this year. Whether you like to admit that or not, doesn't really matter. Sorry boo. 1

theboyismine Posted September 7 Posted September 7 I was told she was 100% going to bag at least an Oscar nomination with this "groundbreaking" role yet the reviews paint a different picture..i wonder what happened 7 1 3

How is calling a troll comment a troll comment an ad hominem? She has one of the most popular songs in the country right now and Joker 2 is predicted to open with higher box office than its predecessor. If that is flopping, I'd love to see what that means for some of her peers. 1

Babar2009 Posted September 7 Posted September 7 It sounds like the movie is boring and Gaga is under utilised. What a waste. FU Todd 2

So she has a hit song and a hit movie but you say she's actually a flop because in your head you think you know what she actually cares about? And you whine at being called a troll?

Well its not my fault ATRL has a kink for solo hits, and also this is a thread about the movie's score among critics so why would calling it a worse disaster than the J.Lo movie be considered trolling when that's an actual fact? And it's an embarrasing fact at that. 2 2

That one Gucci movie wasn't a great one as well, I've seen both praise and criticizm over her fake accent. If she takes many years between her movie projects she don't have to be fooling around like that, she has to pick better roles. 2 2

This tired propaganda about Gaga being panned in HOG expired a long time ago. She was the saving grace of that movie and the Rotten Tomato concensus was clear about that.

Don't move the goal posts now that you've been called on your troll post.
shyboi Posted September 8 Posted September 8 IS IT GAGOVER? not yet, let's wait for the first weekend numbers, yall are doing too much, too early.

But that is still true tho; people were hungry for Bruno for a while now, and I remember seeing When I Was Your Man top 50 a week or smth ago, so it's obvious that he is doing the heavy lifting here. And Joker would have smashed the box office with or without her. Sure she is a part of both but not the main character.

This will have a decent opening weekend, but probably bad legs... probably will end with similar numbers than the first movie, which will end up as an underperformance.
