no the biggest critics are that there are too many long dialogue scenes in a courtroom and that there is too little of Gaga. Apparently Gaga was heavily edited out of the film despite having filmed some potentially iconic scenes.

I wonder if they got ahead of themselves and planned to release a "Harley's extended cut" but ended up cutting too much.

Will Gaga join the likes of Meryl, Nicole, and Kate to get nominated for Best Actress at Oscar with movies that are not well received by critics?

It's possible. Chastain managed to win with Tammy Faye.

Huh? Just because Todd fumbled, doesn't mean it isn't one of the most anticipated films this year…

JFAD hasn't even been released yet. It's definitely one of the most anticipated movies left to be released.

Although she's supporting, I Won't be surprised if WB decided to campaign Gaga for Lead Actress :duca:

Girl its over, this is not in the race for oscars, and its not even about rt or mc score, hype is gone because there's lack of gaga in the movie. what you see in the trailer is what you got in the movie for gaga scenes.

her fanbase moved on after the fact you barely see gaga and she's N/A in second half of the movie and looks like she'll also move on to lg7.

The GP will break or make this movie for sure… I'd say the first one was universally loved, people who didn't like it usually did because it was too much for them, not because it was a bad movie.

But I do think this getting mid reviews is def a bad sign… since it's a sequel we already know why people liked the first one despite its clear flaws, so any shortcomings are already taken into account. Yet it got mixed reviews again :katie:

But it isn't. Dune part 2, IO2 and W&D were all way more anticipated.

J:FAD is not even the most anticipated film of the fall. Gladiator 2 and Moana 2 >>>>

The hype for Wicked eclipses them all.

The way my prophecy came true :deadbanana4: The review praising Gaga aren't exactly glowing with praise either. From the people I've spoken to who were there, Phoenix steals the show but not even his brilliance can make this movie good. What a mess.

I reckon they'll stay silent wait for the gp response then decide. I reckon she'll end up lead as well

One thing we learned from ASIB and HoG is that Gaga is one of the rare actress-actor today to bring people to theater because they are interested in seeing her.
