Bloodflowers. Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I think art should be separated from artist. Dr. Luke and I made magic together previously, and I wanted to give him another chance and for him to hopefully learning from his mistakes and be a proper part of our society going forward. 3

Mania Posted September 4 Posted September 4 (edited) "I saw artists like Doja Cat and Kim Petras were being treated well with Grammy awards and #1s and thought to myself, "Maybe Dr. Luke is a changed man after all, giving black women and transgender women their things, it was very Black Lives Matter and #Prideful of him. So, we chatted at the Grammys afterparty, and that's how Woman's World came to be. #feminism" Edited September 4 by Mania 2

rickycabello123 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 he didnt get arrested & doja is working with him, yall so extra 1 2
gab00 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Just politely Say youre legally obligated to work with him and that is a strictly business driven relationship -that youre no friends-. And maybe have the common sense to not reléase a feminist lead single? She could've managed it differently, oh boy.
KatyPrismSpirit Posted September 4 Posted September 4 just apologize and say it wasn't the best decision and move forward. the music's been made we get that, just drop it, move on. work with better producers and make better music. its NOT that hard 2
cOe Posted September 4 Posted September 4 "It's misogynistic to criticize a woman's choice in collaborators. She would not receive any of this criticism if she were a man." "It's also ageist - Katy chose to create music with an old collaborator. She is not going to blindly chase trends to pander to the youngest generations." 1

BrokenMachine Posted September 4 Posted September 4 (edited) Well, just be true about it, despite of how awful that might sound, like: "I've been friends with his wife for a very long time, and my label told me to approach to him so we could replicate the magic of my past (very past) hits. We distanced only because of the lawsuit so now that it's over, everything aligned so we could work together again. I support feminism and blah blah, but this isn't about you, fools! This is about me trying to revive my career with a long-time friend. It hasn't worked yet, but at least our friendship is stronger than ever, and that's why I made 'I'm His (friend), He's Mine (friend)', to show how a good friendship can surpass every barrier and last forever, for life, for lifetimes.mp3!!!" Spoiler Oh God I need to log off for some days I fear Edited September 4 by BrokenMachine 2

laqqinq Posted September 4 Posted September 4 This album is about empowering women all around the world, breaking all barriers and shattering all ceilings. 'Woman's World' was a perfect example of this and I love how that has set in and shaped the conversation. Being a mother felt so empowering to me. Like what do you mean I created a whole new human? a whole new little heart? a whole set of organs? That felt so powerful and a product of love to me. The album is called '143' which, if you didn't know, is 'I love you' in code language back in the early days of texting and paging. There's so many things we do for each other out of love. Me and my husband, for example. There's been times when our lovely housekeeping was away and he just did the dishes or took care of putting things back in the pantry in the kitchen and I was like, that's so caring and loving of YOU! LIKE I ******* LOVE YOU and YOU'RE GETTING YOUR DICK SUCKED! This brings me to another thing it's like if I come downstairs and the kitchen is clean and you've done it all and you've done all the dishes and you've closed ALL THE PANTRY doors You better BE READY to get YOUR DICK SUCKED!!!! I mean like LITERALLY! That is my LOVE LANGUAGE! I DON'T NEED a RED FERRARI! I CAN BUY A RED FERRARI! Just DO THE ******* DISHES!!!! I WILL suck YOUR DICKKKK! IT'S THAT EASY! So yeah, the album is 143. I Love You. That's what it's about. It's about love and embracing womanhood, y'know. Shoutout to all the awesome collaborators! 3

Imagine Dragon Posted September 4 Posted September 4 (edited) The original Katy Perry was frozen after 2015 and was replaced with a clone after that. Now she is finally defrosted and has no idea what happened since then. Edited September 4 by Imagine Dragon 1

Why does this transcription feel like an essay/meltdown any ATRLer would do? Maybe Katy herself has an account in here I fear 2
Titanbaddie Posted September 5 Posted September 5 "This is actually a collection of demos that we started working on around 2010 to 2013, so he's credited because he was part of the original production but i've reworked many of these songs with other writers and producers but contractually he has to be credited - i haven't physically been in the same room with Luke in at least 10 years"
