That's really good, though. Sure, it deserves more because it is one of the best songs of the year, but still was a big hit. Also love the fact she highlighted the impact a music video can still have.

She performed the song on SNL, sending it straight to #1 on the BB Hot100.

 

It performed really well for months.

 

It departed the Hot100 after half a year.

that's 6 months on the chart, which is pretty standard for a hit. Most hits are not gonna stay on the H100 for a year. Those are those rare monster-sized hits... or Country or AC hits.
