fememeist Posted September 4 Posted September 4 (edited) On its 19th day, it has reached a streaming peak of 11m. I'm not aware of Espresso's numbers, but is DWAS giving a contender? Especially if it goes up more in streams Edited September 4 by fememeist 1 2
dangerousbutera Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Espresso had a huge peak and crazy longevity. It was doing 11 million daily streams two months into its run, so it's a long road to beat it. DWAS is definitely massive though
My Tears Ricochet Posted September 4 Posted September 4 One is a SOLO female song and other one is Bruno Mars song featuring 10% female vocals 4 17

Rihinvention Posted September 4 Posted September 4 No, but I'm truly surprised by its success. I'm very interested in seeing its longevity. If its chart run is front-loaded, then the hype of two superstars collaborating has definitely impacted how well it has performed. It doesn't have the "ear worm factor" of Espresso, but it's doing surprisingly well. I've seen a lot of music TikTokers put it in contention for SOTY or ROTY, which I never would've expected when I first heard it.

babyforlife Posted September 4 Posted September 4 well kinda shoulda YouTube still pulling 2M views daily Spotify 10M+ daily Apple Music Global #1
Sheep Posted September 4 Posted September 4 No and that's okay. Both can be successful even though both aren't #1. Sabrina deserves her moment, Gaga's had plenty of moments herself already. 1

shyboi Posted September 4 Posted September 4 No, spooky season is coming and we don't want dull, soccer mom music lingering around, hope that helps

Hurem Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I am screaming at OGHs trying to set up DWAS for failure from the moment it was released, but the song keeps reaching their goalposts so they keep pushing it constantly. What's next - "will DWAS end up the most streamed songs of all time?"
MonsterNavy Posted September 4 Posted September 4 no, Espresso's autoplay and payola was massive and never been seen before I fear same goes for PPP & Taste nothing can top the autoplay payola white khia sabrina 1 3
Digitalism Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Yes because it's a ballad and they all do better in the long run. But people will still drag yall when that happens because espresso is a solo song
