i think the joker flopped cause Joaquin Phoenix been kinda rude and entitled lately. It was the Universe hittin him back to smash his ego.

The biggest criticism I saw was that the overall theme is a "f you" to the very fans that made the first movie popular, so it felt like an active attempt by the director/writer to make a movie that would piss them off. Achieved, but it's also a bad movie, so no one can enjoy it.

On topic, I really hope that article isn't just guessing! I've had a long few weeks and would love a new bop from Gaga to escape into
