Armani? Posted September 2 Posted September 2 For fun My county in the US has been Democratic in the US presidential election for the past 40 years since 1984 with Reagan's 2nd term in a close 51% - 49% vote with a difference of 3500 votes winning.

Dessy Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Flipped blue for presidential in 2020. Before that it was last blue in 1948 for Truman, flipped by FDR in 1932 1
tiejc Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Flipped Democratic in 1984 and nowadays votes 80% Democratic.
Gladiator Posted September 3 Posted September 3 (edited) The county I grew up in and lived for nearly my entire life first flipped to blue in 1912, then immediately back to red. In 1936, it flipped to blue again. Then flipped red in 1948. In 1964, it switched blue only for that election. In 1976, the same thing happened (with red being in between). It went blue in 1992 and has been blue since. Where I currently live, the last time the county was red was in 1972 and has been predominantly blue the entire time it was established, with the first solid run starting in 1900.
