I'm rooting for him, but he fumbled his career just as bad as Katy Perry. I really don't think anyone is going to be looking for him again for a very long time... his team really f*cked him over by either forcing him to stick to the camp aesthetic or not being honest with him and telling him to try something else.

He went from unexpected queer rap/country crossover artist to Gay Sisqo in under a couple years.

"Just as bad as Katy Perry"

Girl… no one has reached that low yet lmaooo. She's one of one in that category!

You know, I think he has it in him but he needs to recognize that you can't use the same gimmick twice :coffee2:

He needs a rihinvention and he knows it, now it's time to pull it off. ALL the main pop girls and boys have done it. :giraffe:

I never liked the guy his music sucks and he relies too much on shock value ... sadly he aint a girl this doesnt work like in the Madonna days, we need interesting production, authenticity and realness. He also cant sing

He should do something ambitious, like rap in a style of big band or jazz.

It's fair enough if somebody doesn't like his music but a lot of people hide behind that when the truth is they have been rooting against him ever since he came out (and that includes people in our own community, why that is specifically is a bigger discussion).

Having said that though, I do think J Christ and its visuals were a misstep. Hoping his new material goes better because he has been a trailblazer and his presence in the industry is quite important.

See they dislike the fact that he's unapologetically himself, fem when he wants to, and doesn't center YT gay culture in his music and videos.
