Raspberries Posted September 2 Posted September 2 brat has spent 8 weeks in the BB200 Top 10 while eternal sunshine spent 7 eternal sunshine has 1 global hit (we can't be friends) while brat doesn't really have a big chart hit on it Which is bigger? 1 1
moondust Posted September 2 Posted September 2 (edited) i vastly prefer eternal sunshine & find brat incredibly overrated aside from a couple songs but it would be a lie to say that brat isn't having more of a cultural impact Edited September 2 by moondust 1 1

Teen Spirit Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Brat & Ariana hasn't made a good album since 2018. 6
Trash Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Despite not having the stats major and more stablished pop girl eras have, Brat feels like an actual event, I don't remember much eras lately that give that feeling despite being huge successes, so at least it has that cultural impact. 2 1
Communion Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Y'all just running out of people to compare Ariana to in order to drag her now that Taylor's streaming statistics largely have to be confined to one thread and no one finds comparing Taylor to anyone in bad faith engaging anymore. 2 5
UnusualBoy Posted September 2 Posted September 2 ES is still bigger, isn't at more than 3 billon streams while Brat barely passes the 1 billion mark? 2 1
gatito Posted September 2 Posted September 2 brat is big in stan twitter i guess let me know when it has two solo #1 smash hits 2 1
Maroonx Posted September 2 Posted September 2 brat is massive on gay twitter/tiktok/atrl but ES is bigger units wise x
Human Fly Posted September 2 Posted September 2 BRAT is bigger and charted better as a whole album. It was a moment. 1
SlayianaGrenade Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Impact is subjective. Numbers don't lie. It's Eternal Sunshine. 3
Tm4074 Posted September 2 Posted September 2 eternal sunshine, obviously. brat is big within its niche but considering both albums are doing similar daily streams and ES is way ahead with almost 3B, brat won't catch up. ES is getting a deluxe too.
bielneira Posted September 2 Posted September 2 'brat' feels bigger, although numbers tell us otherwise. 1

This is an honest comparison. They're having similar longevity despite Ariana being a much bigger name. Ariana also has the only real hit of the two I'm sorry if you don't like it. Don't engage if so Edited September 2 by Raspberries
unison stan Posted September 2 Posted September 2 brat is arguably the biggest album of 2024. but if this is about only commercial performance brat will surpass eternal sunshine's units soon so brat is (actually will be) bigger (and better)
