My only tweak/edit would be that the bridge is slightly too long. I would cut this line: "if long suffering propriety, is what they want from me, they don't know how you've haunted me so stunningly. I choose you and me…religiously…"

 

They're great lyrics, but I think they should've been saved for another song. They feel wordy for the sake of being wordy.

 

Sonically, it feels like the drop should come right after, "What if I roll the stone away? They're gonna crucify me anyway. What if the way you hold me, is actually what's holy…" — then BOOM. "WHAT IF HE'S WRITTEN MINE ON MY UPPER HIGH, ONLY IN MY MI-I-I-I-I-IND?"

 

It's still ONE OF her best songs though. I really hope it becomes a single. It sounds like one of the highlights on Red.

I 100% agree about the bridge, i used to complain about it, but it's grown on me and I've.. wait for it.. tolerated it
