Judy has a 66 on metacritic, it has decidedly mixed reviews and not too far off Maria. Rotten Tomatoes is not always a good indicator because they judge even a mildly positive review as fresh. Maria is not even in wide release.

Every critic is saying Mikey Madison is taking it, but it really could be Amy's year. It is so, so overdue, and judging by the trailer, a lot of mothers are going to resonate with it.

 

Not the bit about turning into a dog. Just the bit about motherhood being extremely hard, whilst simultaneously being unappreciated.

But Glenn Close's movie is doing worse with the critics and she is also considered a frontrunner. I just loved Angelina on that trailer, it screams Oscar.
