YourFavoriteWeapon Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I forgot to list a couple more masterpieces but jfc her music during this period was GODLY and I loved seeing her tap into a more dark and experimental side of herself during this four year period. It's a shame I'm pretty neutral towards her new music considering I adored the stuff she was doing around this time. 6
Illuminati Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I Disagree was amazing, I felt like she really mastered her sound. Doing her own thing and experimenting but still having huge catchy choruses Flux though... 1
makeawish Posted August 29 Posted August 29 this is the one i couldn't stop listening to for ages i like some of the dark pop stuff on zig but i think probably i disagree was her best album for its very what the f*ck vibe

Zig on the other hand sucks ass aside from Church Outfit, Motorbike, and Hard - what a disappointing album. 9 minutes ago, TaylorsSquad said: I can't believe Poppy never got mainstream success I feel like her vibe and style was way too unique for the GP to digest, though I do think that Lowlife had moderate hit potential if Island actually tried to push it.
Strawberry Bubble Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Artistocrat is actually really good! I'm going to listen to the rest of them 1

Ger Posted August 29 Posted August 29 People saying "I Disagree" at the beginning of their messages makes me believe they disagree with OP. 4
Luckitty Posted August 29 Posted August 29 her new album was panned by critics i wish she would make pop music again
GuyNextDoor Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I won't tolerate any Flux disrespect! It is not I Disagree, but it still has amazing songs like the title track and Bloom. My dream for a new album would be her to doing postpunk/darkwave

Zig was a very mixed bag, and kinda disappointing. I totally agree with your song picks on it but I would also add Knockoff. I am STILL obsessed with it The reworked production on that old track goes hard 1
Mikeymoonshine Posted August 29 Posted August 29 She kinda fell off after Flux imo. Yeah I know Flux is unpopular for not being as good as I disagree but Flux is fine and has a few great songs. Nothing she's done since interested me much.
Freaky Prince Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I'm not into her screamo stuff, but AIAG is an amazing album. No skips.

Flux has Hysteria and Her which are some of her best songs IMO, but the rest of the songs range from decent-skip. Zig is where her discography truly took a tumble outside of three songs I really love. 1
