Strawberry Bubble Posted August 29 Posted August 29 For some of us who weren't familiar with Taylor's entire catalog before the re-recordings, the Taylor's Version projects have helped us discover some great old Taylor content. The song I discovered and started loving thanks to the re-recordings is 'Breathe.' What were yours? 1 1
YourFavoriteWeapon Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I don't listen to the re-recordings because I hate the production but they did give us Don't You which is one of my favorite Taylor songs ever if that answers your question. 3 1

AshleyLovescats887 Posted August 29 Posted August 29 (edited) I became a huge swiftie during the Midnights era so couldn't tell you anything about 'Fearless' or 'Red' re-recordings. 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)' made me love 'Innocent' and 'Back To December' a lot more. In general this re-recording made me love the whole project a lot more than before '1989 (Taylor's Version)' made me love 'Style' and 'Wonderland' a lot more. Edited August 29 by AshleyLovescats887 1
Brooklyn Baby Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I've been a Swiftie since 2008 and Breathe has been one of my Fearless favs since its release, but I really started appreciating Tell Me Why more after the rerecording came out. 2
ATRL Moderator MissedTheTrain Posted August 29 ATRL Moderator Posted August 29 I knew her catalogue before (minus most of the vault songs obviously) but there are a few songs I didn't care much for before that I love the re-recorded versions of: -SuperStar -You Are In Love -Fifteen -Never Grow Up -If This Was A Movie -I Wish You Would 1
Mezik Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Because of Fearless TV I learned to love You're Not Sorry a lot more. Fearless TV also just made The Way I Loved You even more excellent…. Making it all that more special to get to hear it live. (I'm never letting this down) 1 2
Selegend Posted August 29 Posted August 29 i didn't care about fearless title track before the TV and i love it now 2
wastedpotential Posted August 29 Posted August 29 Oh gosh there are so many songs I went back and re-evaluated, but I'd say the one I had the strongest come to Jesus with was U R N Lena Lena You Are In Love It's one of the few songs where you can clearly tell she and Jack went back and added extra flourishes that weren't in the original, and I think they did a masterful of adding space to the mix to allow each element to be appreciated more fully.

penguintim Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I'd never heard Today Was A Fairytale prior to April 2021, now the TV is a penguintim hot 100 smash hit Spoiler and can YOU feel this magic in the air?? 2
kstreaming Posted August 29 Posted August 29 I hated the OG This Love and You Are in Love. Thought they didn't match at all with the other slow song on the album Clean which is my all time favorite Taylor song. Now they are among may favorites from the album.
UnusualBoy Posted August 29 Posted August 29 This Love & Sparks Fly. I didn't really care for them with the OG but the TVs made me like them way more.
Zeferino Posted August 29 Posted August 29 (edited) "State of Grace (Taylor's Version)" she really went all the way in with that opening song Edited August 29 by Zeferino
