TaylorNation Posted August 29 Posted August 29 really curious to see how this will fare on Broadway, especially after the Cabaret mess
alexaalto Posted August 29 Posted August 29 (edited) 1 hour ago, CozySkin said: Are there Solo Nicole Songs on? She will be on 19 tracks out of 39 and 4 out of those 19 are apparently solo tracks. (Surrender, With One Look, Norma In The Studio, As If We Never Said Goodbye) 39 tracks is quite a lot, many of them are interludes type of tracks or small spoken ones I guess Edited August 29 by alexaalto 1
Melancholy Posted August 30 Posted August 30 At first glance i thought this said "Selling Sunset London Cast" and i was like damn Nicole fell off 3

Just call it Nicole Scherzinger - 'Sunset Boulevard: The Album' Edited August 30 by Inverted
TaylorNation Posted August 31 Posted August 31 7 hours ago, Inverted said: What Cabaret mess? the very much hyped West End revival of Cabaret transferred to Broadway with the hopes of being a huge Tony winner, but it ended up getting panned and ridiculed left and right I guess US audiences saw right through the award-baiting gimmicks and rightfully shipped it back everyone in London raved about the Sunset Boulevard revival when it opened, and both productions do similar things with the source material, so it will be interesting to see how this is received over there (I hated it tbh)

Which is fine. She loves theater and Broadway is a huge goal of hers but I'd hope at least here and there we'll get proper pop songs if not her feature in mainstream musicals 2

I wonder if she hasn't dropped an album because of the pressure of maintaining certain level of commercial success she's had in the past. It would be a shame if that's the reason because nowadays that doesn't really matter. Only a very selective few can aspire to that. 2

I think after all the hype she had in a group to not get through same results solo definitely bruised her ego and damaged her self esteem Like it's insane to know that these hit songs like We Found Love, On The Floor, Just Dance, Just Say Yes, Beautiful People, Heartbeat, Crazy and Where Have You Been were all recorded by her but just never released or she for whatever reason passed on it Justice for Steam, Physical featuring Timbaland, Cold, Hollywood featuring Flo Rida, Freak and Trampoline featuring Missy Elliott not being released cause they could've done for her in order to establish some semblance of success in her solo career 1
UnderratedVocalist Posted September 7 Posted September 7 on she is WINNING that Grammy in 2026. With One Look and As If We Never Said Goodbye alone deserve. So by early 2026, Nicole could be halfway to an EGOT with a Tony and a Grammy. If they release a Live Recording on Streaming + shoot a movie, she could snatch EGOT based on this alone. And it would be incredibly deserved. She's literally giving the performance of a lifetime in an incredibly meta art piece.
